Used 1998 Jeep Wrangler with 175,000 miles, would it be worth it?

if it was the In line six it would probably be worth that much but the Jeep 4CY is a notoriously underpowered problem prone P.O.S especially seeing as its so high mileage again the in line six's last for almost ever but the 4cy have very short life spans if you can negotiate the price down $1500 at least and can afford to have an engine swap done than go for it other wise run away run as far and as fast as you can the body's in good shape but that motor is probably trashed but like i said if you can afford the engine swap the motor will usually cost about $12 -1400 from a shop or you can go to a junk yard and probably get one for $500-1000 and labor will probably be about a $1000 so really unless your looking for an easy project vehicle you're better off just buying one with a six cylinder in it or finding one with a good body/transmission but no motor hope i helped
