What is your opinion on the government giving aid to families who have too many children they can't afford?

The idea of having as many children as possible was only implemented because back in the day lots of kids died at a really early age. There are billions of people in the world now, so it's time the church endorsed condoms and population control. No aid should be given; if you starve, it's your own damned fault.
