"Do you want I should..." ?

I've heard this expression before in old movies, and also some of my older relatives. They say, for example, "Do you want I should call a doctor" instead of "Do you want me to call a doctor" or "Would you like me to call a doctor." I'm guessing it's old-fashioned grammar. I think I've seen it in old books as well. It can even be used more colloquially/violently, like "Would you like I should smack you?" So, I guess my question is, does anybody else know what I'm talking about? What is this grammatical construction called? Is it even grammatically correct?
